35CrMnSiA is a low alloy ultra high strength steel

Executive standard: GB/T 3077-1999

35CrMnSiA is a low-alloy ultra-high-strength steel. After heat treatment, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, high strength, sufficient toughness, hardenability, weldability (preheating before welding), and processing formability. Low oxidation resistance, generally used after low temperature tempering or isothermal quenching.

35CrMnSiA high strength steel chemical composition:
Carbon C: 0.32 to 0.39
Carbon C: 0.32 to 0.39
Silicon Si: 1.10~1.40
Manganese Mn: 0.80~1.10
Sulfur S: allowable residual content ≤ 0.025
Phosphorus P: allowable residual content≤0.025
Chromium Cr: 1.10~1.40
Nickel Ni: allowable residual content ≤ 0.030
Copper Cu: allowable residual content ≤ 0.025

35CrMnSiA high-strength structural steel has high strength and toughness, high hardenability, medium cold deformation plasticity, and good cutting performance. There is a tendency to temper brittleness, and the transverse impact toughness is poor. The welding performance is good, but when the thickness is greater than 3mm, it should be preheated to 150 ℃ first, and heat treatment is required after welding.

35CrMnSiA is used to manufacture medium-speed, heavy-duty, high-strength, high-toughness parts and high-strength components. It is mostly used to manufacture various important parts with high load and high speed, such as gears, shafts, clutches, sprockets, grinding wheel shafts, bushings, bolts, nuts, etc. Welded components of high pressure blowers, valve plates and non-corrosive pipes and tubes.
