Q420C low alloy high strength structural steel

Q420C steel executive standard: GB1591-2008
Q420C steel only has a little higher tensile strength. The yield strength of Q235 is 235N/MM^2, while the yield strength of Q420 is 420N/MM^2. Due to its low carbon content, it cannot be quenched and tempered. Machining shafts, gears, etc. But it is very good to be made of steel plate, and the strength is much higher than that of Q235.

Q420 has high strength, good fatigue resistance; high toughness and low brittle transition temperature; good cold forming performance and welding performance; good corrosion performance and certain wear resistance.

Mo: ≤ 0.20; Als: ≥ 0.015.
