The production of X65QO steel seamless pipe traditionally uses hot extrusion and rotary piercing method. The production process mainly includes blooming, personal hot extrusion, rotary piercing, heat treatment and cold drawing. The hot-rolled steel blank is heated to 1150°C-1200°C. After that, it enters the personal hot extrusion machine for seamless tube with a reduction rate of 5-14%, and then enters the rotary piercing machine, which is heated with radiation and convective heating to obtain hot-rolled tube with a diameter of 457 mm and a wall thickness of 19 mm. After that, the hot-rolled tube is placed in a natural cooling box and then enters the cold drawing machine. The seamless steel pipe is subjected to cold drawing to obtain the required outer diameter and wall thickness. Finally, the finishing, inspection and warehousing of the pipe are carried out.
Bending and Expanding Test
In order to ensure the mechanical properties of the X65QO seamless steel pipe for deep-sea submarine, all the produced pipes must be tested in bending, flattening, and expanding test according to the national standard. The test results indicate that the ratio of the bending angle to the wall thickness is not less than 2.5, and the degree of flattening and expanding is not greater than 2.5 percent. That is to say, the degree of deformation does not exceed 25% of the wall thickness of the pipe. According to the test results, it is proved that X65QO seamless steel pipe for deep-sea submarine has good flexibility, high strength and reliable performance.
