Q215A is a kind of steel material. Q represents the yield degree of this material, and the latter 215 means that the yield strength is 215MPa, and the yield value will decrease as the thickness of the material increases. Due to the moderate carbon content, the comprehensive performance is good, and the strength, plasticity and welding properties are well matched, and it is the most widely used.
Q215 welded pipe is a carbon structural steel. This type of steel is generally smelted by converter or open hearth, and its main raw materials are molten iron and scrap steel. The content of sulfur and phosphorus in steel is higher than that of high-quality carbon structural steel, generally sulfur ≤ 0.050%, phosphorus ≤ 0.045%.
The content of other alloying elements brought into the steel by the raw materials, such as chromium, nickel and copper, generally does not exceed 0.30%. Q255A, B, Q275 and other steel grades are indicated.
