Development of wear-resistant middle groove of high-strength heavy-duty scraper conveyor

Scraper conveyors are widely used in the coal mining industry and other fields. Used to transport bulk materials, the power is transmitted by the scraper chain. Design of Wear-Resistant Middle Groove
    
1. The size of the middle groove
    
Based on the scraper characteristics, the design and installation of the middle groove should be appropriate, and the size of the middle groove should be determined according to the corresponding requirements. If the size is too large, the material will accumulate and the material cannot be moved. If the size is too small, the material cannot be discharged smoothly. The size of the wear-resistant middle groove should meet the requirements of the conveyor, and the height and width of the middle groove should be determined according to the size of the head driven shaft and the material to be conveyed, so as to ensure the wear-resistant middle groove works normally.
    
2. Surface treatment
    
The wear-resistant middle groove can be treated by surface hardening or nitriding. The nitrided wear-resistant middle groove has a higher wear resistance than the surface-hardened wear-resistant middle groove. The nitriding process temperature is slightly lower than the surface hardening temperature, and the cooling rate is very fast. The quenching effect is uniform and the wear of the hardened layer is very small. At the same time, the nitrided wear-resistant middle groove has a stronger anti-fatigue crack resistance, which can increase the service life of the conveyor.
    
3. Materials selection
    
In order to increase the wear resistance of the medium groove, materials with higher wear resistance should be selected. The most commonly used wear-resistant materials are heat-treated alloy steels and wear-resistant shielding materials. The heat-treated alloy steel has high strength, good wear resistance and high impact toughness, while the wear-resistant shielding material has higher wear resistance than the heat-treated alloy steel, so it is an ideal material for the wear-resistant middle groove.

The wear-resistant middle groove is mainly used in the middle groove of high-strength heavy-duty scraper conveyors. The wear-resistant middle groove is designed and produced by considering the wear resistance of the middle groove and the bearing capacity of the conveyor.
