1.Structure
The microstructure of NR360 steel plate is mainly composed of hard bainite. The cross section of bainite can be seen in the picture below. The microstructure contains thick and thin lath bainite, needle-like transition bainite and undissolved carbide particles. In addition, there are some areas of unresolved pro-eutectoid cementite particles and residual austenite. This combination of microstructure provides excellent properties of wear-resistance and mechanical properties.
2.Mechanical Properties
The main mechanical properties like yield strength and tensile strength at room temperature of NR360 bainite wear-resistant steel plate are over 1200 and 1500MPa, respectively. In addition, the hardness is higher than that of standard low-carbon and low alloy steel, and the wear-resistance is also much better than that of low-carbon steels due to its unique microstructure. Furthermore, The impact toughness of NR360 bainite wear-resistant steel plate is better than that of pearlitic and martensitic wear-resistant steel plate, and can remain at a very high level even at the room temperature.
