Production Process
Shows the schematic diagram of production process of ZG120Mn13Cr2 high manganese wear-resistant steel by induction electric furnace.
The production process for ZG120Mn13Cr2 high manganese wear-resistant steel includes the following steps:
1. Materials are selected according to the formula. The raw materials include manganese ore, high-carbon ferrochrome, low-carbon ferromanganese and flux. The materials are weighed accurately and evenly poured into the induction electric furnace.
2. After the material is loaded into the furnace, the furnace is closed and the furnace is pre-heated to the required temperature.
3. Start the furnace power and electromagnetic stirring, and maintain the prescribed temperature and flow of the molten steel.
4. Sample the molten steel and perform chemical analysis at regular intervals to ensure that the molten steel meets the required composition.
5. When the composition of the molten steel meets the requirements, activate the electromagnetic stirring and adjust the furnace power.
6. Control the temperature of the molten steel to meet the requirements, the carbon and manganese substances of the steel should be uniform, and then pour into the chute for continuous casting into the casting machine for rolling.
7. Through cooling bed, reheating furnace and hot rolling mill, rolling reaches the required thickness, width and length.
Conclusion
The ZG120Mn13Cr2 high manganese wear-resistant steel manufactured by the state-of-the-art induction electric furnace has better material composition, decent surface quality, stable mechanical properties and excellent performance. The use of this steel can effectively extend the service life of wear-resistant components and parts, thereby improving efficiency and reducing costs. In addition, the induction electric furnace has the advantages of fast melting, high thermal efficiency, low energy consumption and environmental protection, which is an ideal choice for steelmaking.
