Raw material selection
Seamless steel pipes for 65Mn-1 concrete pump truck delivery pipelines are mainly composed of carbon steel, and the main material used is round steel AISI 1045, and the chemical composition is shown in Table 1.

Steelmaking

Pipe making is a series of processes of making pipes from round steel, including cutting, perforation, heating, blowing, punching and other processes.The following is the pipe making process of seamless steel pipe for 65Mn-1 concrete pump truck delivery pipeline:
1. Cut the round steel into pieces of suitable length.
2. Place the round steel pieces into the perforated metal stubs, and heat them in the furnace.
3. Carry out annealing, tempering, and other heat treatment processes after the heating is completed, to make the steel evenly heated and cooled, and obtain satisfactory mechanical properties.
4. Place the overheated and tempered steel pieces into the extruder, and carry out cold, hot or warm extruding or upsetting to form the steel pipe of the required size, shape and mechanical properties.
5. In order to improve the surface quality and tolerance accuracy of the steel pipe, a punching process may be carried out after cold extruding or upsetting, so that the size and shape are more accurate and the surface is smoother.
Inspection

Therefore, the inspection process is very important, and the inspection should meet the requirements of the relevant national inspection standards.Inspection items include chemical composition, mechanical properties, physical properties, surface quality and tolerance accuracy.
