Gas cutting characteristics of BHNM500 wear plate:
Like ordinary steel plates, BHNM500 wear-resistant plate can be processed by gas cutting and has good gas-cutting characteristics. In order to prevent the BHNM500 wear-resistant plate from producing cracks during gas cutting, the method of reducing the cutting speed should be selected with high gas pressure and oxygen pressure.

Considering the crack susceptibility of thick plates and high hardness grades, it is necessary to preheat below 250°C before cutting (the recommended values below can be considered), and post-heating is required.

Thermoforming properties of BHNM500 wear plate:
BHNM500 wear-resistant plate has good thermal processing performance, BHNM500 wear-resistant plate can be formed under the thermal processing temperature of 200 ℃. When the BHNM500 wear-resistant plate is heated to above 250℃, the hardness of the BHNM500 wear-resistant plate will decrease.

Processing characteristics of BHNM500 wear plate:
BHNM500 wear-resistant plate has good cutting and shearing performance. When machining steel plates, the amount of feed and feed speed should be reasonably selected according to the hardness of the steel plate and the use of cutting tools. Usually, the tool material is high-speed steel or cemented carbide, especially cobalt alloy high-speed drill bits.

Although BHNM500 wear plate has high strength and hardness, its cold bending performance is good, BHNM500 wear plate can be cold formed.

In order to prevent the BHNM500 wear-resistant plate from cracking at the edge during cold working, the flame-cut or sheared edge needs to be ground in the bending area.
