ASTM A131 FH32 Marine Steel Plate is defined in standard of ASTM A131/ A131M(latest version), which covers structural steel plates, shapes, bars, and rivets mainly used in construction of ships.
The ASTM A131 specification is the Standard Specification for Structural Steel plates primarily used in ship construction. Steel grades covered in this specification require CVN Impact testing and are classified by minimum Yield Strengths. Grades classified as Ordinary Strength have a minimum Yield Strength of 34 ksi and grades classified as Higher Strength have a minimum Yield Strength of 46 ksi.
